A quick and easy way to protect sensitive information on your computer from children, employers, and anyone else who uses your computer, including law enforcement and hackers! This software will hide your sensitive files so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" in Windows folder options. Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files! For extra security, use a password to prevent anyone from accessing your files. You can run this software in stealth mode so that no one knows it's there, and hide or show your sensitive files using hotkeys.

Lock and Hide Folder is a program that allows you to protect the privacy of your personal data hiding it from other people who can access you computer. Using its intuitive interface, you can create the list of folders you want to hide. After you make the folders hidden, they become totally invisible in your system. This means that they can't be accessed even from the shortcuts and the recent documents lists.
To increase the level of security, you can use password protection. If it's enabled, a person who doesn't know your special password won't be able even to start the protected application. Lock and Hide Folder allows using hotkey combinations for instant hiding or showing all folders. You can find all the instructions for this program in the detailed help file. The developers don't recommend hiding the folders in Windows and Program Files directories in order to be sure that all the applications in your system perform properly. You can't hide folders with files that are currently used by other applications, so you should stop such applications first. Lock and Hide Folder has very low system requirements. |
