Lock and Hide Folder is a program that allows you to protect the privacy of your personal data hiding it from other people who can access you computer. Using its intuitive interface, you can create the list of folders you want to hide. After you make the folders hidden, they become totally invisible in your system. This means that they can't be accessed even from the shortcuts and the recent documents lists.
To increase the level of security, you can use password protection. If it's enabled, a person who doesn't know your special password won't be able even to start the protected application. The developers don't recommend hiding the folders in Windows and Program Files directories in order to be sure that all the applications in your system perform properly. You can't hide folders with files that are currently used by other applications, so you should stop such applications first. Lock and Hide Folder has very low system requirements.
